PASIR GUDANG, Aug. 9 -- The bodies of two primary schoolboys, who had been reported missing since last night, were recovered at a dam here by Fire and Rescue Department personnel early this morning.

The victims have been identified as Mohammad Haikal Ramzi, 12, and Muhd Adam Farish Arman, 11.

The two friends were believed to have drowned while playing at a dam in Jalan Murai 2 in Taman Scientex here yesterday evening.

"We were told the two children were earlier reported missing and their families became concerned when they did not return to their respective homes.

"Both victims were believed to have gone swimming in the dam based on the discovery of a bicycle and slippers belonging to one of the victims at the scene," he said.
