Twice's Chaeyoung leaves JYP after 14 years, says 'nothing changes' with group
SEOUL, Aug. 14 -- Twice member Chaeyoung has reportedly announced that she will pursue her solo career independently after leaving JYP Entertainment, while continuing her activities with the nine-member K-pop group.
According to The Korea Herald, Chaeyoung said in a handwritten Instagram letter yesterday that she would continue her musical journey through "Lil Fantasy", the name of both her debut solo album and her personal creative project.
The singer thanked JYP Entertainment and the Twice team for supporting her during her 14 years with the company, including her time as a trainee.
"Most of all, please know that nothing changes with Twice," she reportedly wrote, adding that the group would always remain her roots.
