SINGAPORE, April 1 -- After months of uncertainty over unpaid wages, about 80 former workers of Singapore bakery chain Twelve Cupcakes are reportedly set to recover part of their salaries.

Singapore's The Straits Times reported that the employees, who were left in the lurch when the company abruptly shut all 20 outlets on October 29, 2025, will receive around half of what they are owed for October 2025 under the court-appointed liquidation process.

The court-appointed liquidator AAG Corporate Advisory told The Straits Times it is prioritising workers' claims in line with insolvency rules and has begun contacting them to confirm bank details so salaries and overtime pay can be disbursed.
