KOTA KINABALU, Sept. 23 -- A former Sabah hospital director has been ordered by the Tribunal for Anti-Sexual Harassment (TAGS) to pay RM10,000 in compensation to a woman who lodged a police report alleging sexual harassment against him.

His counsel Joan Goh (pic) said TAGS also ordered her client to apologise to the woman and pay the compensation via bank transfer within 30 days of the award dated Sept 18.

She said the apology must be sent to the woman via the TAGS email address, while two witnesses for the woman and five for the respondent testified during the hearing.
