KUALA LUMPUR, May 10 -- UMW Toyota Motor officially launched the all-new Toyota Yaris Cross last week, adding a B-segment SUV to its Malaysian line-up with petrol and hybrid variants priced from RM99,900 and RM109,900 respectively.

In a press statement, UMW Toyota Motor said the locally assembled Yaris Cross is now available for booking at authorised Toyota dealerships nationwide, with both variants assembled at Toyota's Bukit Raja plant in Selangor.

"Our approach has always been to introduce technologies that are relevant to how Malaysians drive today, and hybrid continues to offer a clear and accessible pathway towards electrification," said UMW Toyota Motor president Datuk Ravindran K.
