SINGAPORE, Oct. 9 -- A Singaporean man has been left stranded in the Philippines after discovering that his marriage to a Filipina woman was allegedly not valid.

Content creator ItsCarrie first posted about the man, Hasbi, on TikTok on Sept 20.

Hasbi, 50, said that he believed his marriage to his Filipina partner was genuine, but only recently discovered that it was fake, wrote content creator Carrie Laine Abad.

She shared that Hasbi had been staying in a mosque to avoid becoming homeless.

In the video, Hasbi can be seen showing the TikToker around the mosque's premises with his Singapore passport in hand.

The video footage also shows him packing his passport into one of two bags containing his belongings.
