SINGAPORE, Oct. 15 -- Singapore's Land Transport Authority (LTA) has issued stern warnings against a recent TikTok trend involving individuals hanging from traffic lights and street signs, noting both the danger it poses to participants and the disruption it may cause.
This follows a series of recorded incidents where thrill-seekers are seen engaging in such risky behaviour, which has since gained notoriety on the social media platform.
The trend features TikTokers lipsyncing to Kid Cudi's 2008 track Maui Wowie, and was first popularised by TikTok user @aaronxbrownn in a video taken in Honolulu.
