BANGKOK, Sept. 30 -- Thai Airways International has cancelled another 37 domestic and international flights through Thursday as it works to clear a major baggage backlog at Suvarnabhumi airport.

The latest cancellations, announced on the airline's official Facebook page on Tuesday evening, came hours after chief executive Chai Eamsiri apologised to passengers following mounting complaints over days-long baggage delays, the Bangkok Post reported.

Several passengers responding to the announcement expressed concern that their flights could also be affected, while others sought updates on missing luggage.
