SINGAPORE, Oct. 19 -- Another three companies in Indonesia have been issued with Preventive Measure Notices (PMNs) under Singapore's Transboundary Haze Pollution Act, the National Environment Agency (NEA) said on Monday (Oct 19).

The three companies are: PT Buana Megatama Jaya, PT Mananjung Hayak, and PT Baratama Putra Perkasa.

In its media release, the agency stated that there are indications that smoke from fires in Kalimantan - on lands held via concessions under the three additional companies in Indonesia - may have drifted towards Singapore.

These three entities join a list of seven other companies which were served the notices on Oct 16.

This brings the total number of Indonesian companies issued with PMNs this month to 10.
