KUALA LUMPUR, Oct. 16 -- The suspect accused of stabbing a female student to death at a school in Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya, is cooperating with the investigation, said Selangor Police Chief, Datuk Shazeli Kahar.
He added that the police had also recorded statements from two additional new witnesses, who are friends of the victim, Astro Awani reported today.
"Yesterday, I reported that 57 witness statements had been taken; now the total is 59. More statements will be recorded soon to obtain conclusive findings.
"Reports, particularly from pathologists, have not yet been received. I estimate it will take about another month before we obtain detailed autopsy results. We will try to expedite this.
