KUALA LUMPUR, Aug. 26 -- PKR Youth information chief Danish Hairudin has accused Umno Youth chief Datuk Dr Akmal Saleh of shifting his stance on the Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) because its findings and resulting arrests failed to match his political narrative.

Danish said Akmal, previously among the most vocal figures demanding the report's release, was now attempting to "move the goalposts".

"Must everyone follow Akmal and Umno's lead until we get the answer that Umno wants?" Danish asked, noting the inquiry was not formed under Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's administration.
