KUALA LUMPUR, Sept. 30 -- Sony Pictures has unveiled the official poster for Ramayana: Rise of a Legend, offering a fresh look at the upcoming Hindi-language epic ahead of its November release.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the two-part adaptation stars Ranbir Kapoor as Rama, Yash as Ravana and Sai Pallavi as Sita.

Ramayana: Rise of a Legend - Part 1 is set to open in Malaysia on November 5 and will be presented in IMAX and other premium large formats.

The film is based on the Ramayana, one of India's best-known ancient epics, which chronicles the life and adventures of Prince Rama, an incarnation of the Hindu god Vishnu.
