SINGAPORE, June 17 -- A taxi and a GetGo car were involved in a collision outside Bendemeer MRT station on the morning of June 17, leaving one taxi driver hospitalised after the crash.

According to Mothership.sg, which first reported the incident, police had cordoned off the stretch near Kallang Bahru for investigations when the outlet arrived at about 9.55am.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted to the accident at about 8am and conveyed one person to Raffles Hospital.

At the scene, both vehicles were seen with airbags deployed, with the red GetGo car appearing to have sustained more severe damage than the taxi.
