SINGAPORE, Aug. 11 -- Visitors heading to Singapore over the next three months will be offered new transport perks aimed at pulling travellers beyond the usual downtown circuit and into neighbourhoods such as Katong-Joo Chiat, Tiong Bahru and Mandai.

According to the Straits Times, the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and Grab have launched a campaign that gives tourists two bonus ride vouchers when they sign up for the Singapore Grab Travel Pass - a bundle of discounts covering transport, food and activities.

One voucher offers 20 per cent off rides to selected precincts, while another gives a one-time 20 per cent discount for trips to nightlife spots including Holland Village, Clarke Quay, Boat Quay and Robertson Quay between 7pm and 4am...
