SINGAPORE, Oct. 28 -- Three men have been fined for taunting and hurling insults at a police officer who stopped them from entering a cordoned-off murder scene near Kitchener Road.

According to a report by Asia One, the incident took place on September 22 around 5am, when the trio - Alex Kumar Gnanasekaran, 38, Md Dino Marciano Abdul Wahab, 45, and Mohamed Eusof Mohamed Yahiya, 33 - came across a police cordon while walking along the back lane of Sam Leong Road after a night of drinking.

All three men pleaded guilty to using insulting words towards a public servant. Alex was fined S$4,000 (RM12,900), while Dino and Eusof were each fined S$5,000.
