SINGAPORE, Aug. 21 -- Eighty-one suspected drug offenders were arrested in an islandwide operation this week, with officers recovering more than S$105,500 (RM335,762) worth of controlled substances, the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) said.

CNB said that the raids took place across several neighbourhoods, including Toa Payoh, Telok Blangah and Punggol, according to CNA.

Officers seized about 529g of Ice, 375g of heroin, 27g of cannabis, 10g of ketamine, 10g of Ecstasy and 11 Erimin-5 tablets during the week-long sweep.

Around midday on Monday, CNB arrested a 38-year-old Singaporean man at a lift landing in a Punggol Field block for suspected trafficking offences.
