KUALA LUMPUR, Sept. 18 -- A 49-year-old man smoker was arrested by police last night after returning from a motorcycle convoy to Thailand, following an incident in which he became angry after being reprimanded for smoking near a restaurant.

The suspect was taken into custody at Persiaran Kayangan, Seksyen 9, Shah Alam.

Shah Alam District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim, said the man will be brought to the Shah Alam Magistrates' Court this morning to apply for remand, according to Utusan Malaysia.

"For your information, the suspect has been arrested and will be brought to the Shah Alam Magistrates' Court this morning for remand. He was apprehended in Shah Alam after returning from a motorcycle ride in Thailand," ...
