SEOUL, Sept. 22 -- K-beauty brand JM Solution is facing renewed calls for a boycott after online posts resurfaced alleged past business ties with former BigBang member Seungri, who was convicted in the Burning Sun scandal.

According to The Korea Herald, the controversy erupted on Sunday when social media users highlighted reports that Seungri had served as a corepresentative of JM Town - a company linked to JM Solution CEO Kim Jung-woong - before handing the role to his associate Yoo In-suk amid the scandal.

The posts also pointed to a JM Town event held at Burning Sun, the Seoul nightclub where Seungri was an executive director.
