KUALA LUMPUR, Oct. 16 -- The 14-year-old teenage boy involved in the fatal stabbing of a 16-year-old girl at SMK Bandar Utama 4 is believed to have learning difficulties.
Selangor police chief Commissioner Datuk Shazeli Kahar said the suspect had received rehabilitation counselling focused on improving learning methods, as reported by The Star.
"The suspect had undergone rehabilitation counselling aimed at improving learning methods, not issues related to personality or mental health," he said.
"Therefore, the allegation that the school failed to take early action regarding the suspect's mental condition is completely inaccurate," he told reporters after a walkabout along Jalan Tengku Kelana in Klang.
