Sarawak air quality improves as Serian and Samarahan drop from unhealthy to moderate
KUCHING, Aug. 17 -- Sarawak recorded moderate air quality at all monitoring stations except Bario, where the Air Pollutant Index (API) reading remained at good level as of 8am on Monday, according to the Natural Resources and Environment Board's Daily Haze Watch.
Air quality in Serian and Samarahan improved from unhealthy levels - with API readings of 157 and 151 respectively at 4pm on Sunday - to moderate levels of 98 and 92 by 8am.
Lundu and Tebedu also improved, dropping from unhealthy readings of 111 and 109 at 4pm on Sunday to 93 and 73 respectively by 8am.
