KUALA LUMPUR, Oct. 22 -- Perikatan Nasional (PN) chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar has welcomed a High Court ruling granting an interim stay against the Registrar of Societies' (RoS) decision to deregister the coalition, saying it will now direct its full electoral machinery towards the Melaka state election.

In a statement today, Ahmad Samsuri said that PN was "on the right path in defending our rights through legal channels" and maintained that political adversaries seeking to "erase" the coalition would fail to undermine its resolve.
