KOTA KINABALU, Sept. 28 -- Sabah police have advised that a band named Israel & New Breed's planned concert here in October not be held for now, citing public sensitivities and concerns over public order.

Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Jauteh Dikun said police had received two reports concerning the concert, which has been widely publicised on social media.

"Given the current sensitivities, we will advise that this concert not be held for the time being," he said, adding that no official application has been made by the concert organisers despite online circulars being publicised including date, venue and ticket prices.
