PETALING JAYA, May 17 -- Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli and Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad said they will vacate the Pandan and Setiawangsa seats tomorrow.

In the announcement of their takeover of the Malaysian United Party here today, the two former ministers also said they were officially leaving PKR.

The duo said they will notify the Speaker of Dewan Rakyat about their withdrawal tomorrow.

Their move will trigger by-elections for both seats as the vacancies will occur outside the two-year window before the end of the current parliamentary term.
