KUALA KANGSAR, Oct. 14 -- The implementation of the RM2,500 starting salary for fresh graduates entering the public service, announced in Budget 2027, is pending an official circular outlining the implementation details.

Malaysian Public Services Commission (SPA) chairman and Judicial and Legal Service Commission (SPKP) chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Jailani Muhamed Yunus said the details would include the implementation timeline and related payment components.

"We welcome the announcement made in the Budget, but its implementation will have to follow the procedures stipulated in the circular.
