KUALA LUMPUR, Sept. 19 -- Two vehicles bearing the Prison Department logo were seen entering the residence of former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak at Jalan Langgak Duta here this morning.

The vehicles arrived at the premises from about 9.45am.

Several individuals dressed in plain clothes were later seen speaking with Najib's aide, Ahmad Lutfi Azhar.

They were subsequently observed walking around the front yard and perimeter of the residence, including the fencing beside the property.

The purpose of the visit was not immediately confirmed.

Ahmad Lutfi greeted members of the press during the visit but declined to comment.
