KUALA LUMPUR, Sept. 28 -- Security at the residence of former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak in Jalan Langgak Duta here is still being maintained around the clock, said Kuala Lumpur Police Chief Datuk Fadil Marsus.

He said the security detail was provided as soon as police were informed of the matter and remains in place to this day, according to a report by national news agency Bernama.

"We provided security from the very beginning when we received the notification and it is still ongoing today. We will maintain it 24 hours a day while awaiting further instructions," he told reporters.
