SHAH ALAM, Aug. 11 -- Federal narcotics police foiled an international drug syndicate's tactic of storing ganja flowers supplied from neighbouring countries at residences near international airports before they were transported by drug mules, following the arrest of nine individuals earlier this month.

Bukit Aman Narcotics Crime Investigation Department director Commissioner Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said the arrests were the result of a month-long operation from July 12 to August 3 aimed at crippling a drug distribution network transporting drugs to Europe.
