PM Anwar condemns Kedah MB Sanusi's divisive comments, calls for unity
SEBERANG PERAI, July 25 -- Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has strongly condemned Perikatan Nasional election director Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor over remarks suggesting that different ethnic groups in Malaysia could fall back on ancestral homelands outside the country.
According to FMT, the Pakatan Harapan chairman said no leader should make statements that could offend other races, stressing that the Malaysian Chinese and Malaysian Indian communities are loyal citizens who respect the Federal Constitution.
