ARAU, Aug. 9 -- Perlis Umno is preparing its machinery to contest all 15 state seats and three parliamentary constituencies on its own at the next election, state liaison chairman Datuk Rozabil Abd Rahman reprotedly said.

Berita Harian reported that Rozabil said there had so far been no official talks with any political party, including Perikatan Nasional (PN), on electoral cooperation in Perlis.

"What party members want, and what we have been working towards, is to continue working in all 15 state seats and three parliamentary constituencies," he was quoted as saying last night.
