Perak police probe sexual harassment allegations against PKNPk CEO
IPOH, Aug. 13 -- Perak police have opened an investigation into alleged slander involving sexual harassment claims against Perak State Development Corporation (PKNPk) chief executive officer Datuk Redza Rafiq Abdul Razak, following a report lodged by the corporation.
State police chief commissioner Datuk Mohd Alwi Zainal Abidin said the investigation was initiated based on the police report lodged by PKNPk over the matter, which had been circulated on social media.
"Police have opened an investigation under Section 507A of the Penal Code and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998.
"The investigation is still ongoing," he told a press conference at the Perak Police Headquarters here.
