MARANG, Aug. 21 -- PAS President Abdul Hadi Awang said Perikatan Nasional is fully prepared to walk away from Barisan Nasional (BN) should its partner flirt with an alliance with Pakatan Harapan (PH) for the Melaka state election.

Hadi said that while the PN coalition remains confident in its ability to deploy a range of tactical alternatives, high-level discussions regarding cooperation with BN for the Melaka polls remain ongoing, NST reported.

Hadi noted that no final decision has been reached, though he suggested that a significant portion of the BN leadership is inclined toward maintaining its partnership with PN.
