JOHOR BAHRU, June 10 -- PAS has appointed former federal minister Tan Sri Annuar Musa as its Johor election director ahead of the upcoming state polls.

Johor PAS information chief Mohd Firdaus Jaffar said the appointment was aimed at strengthening the party's preparations for the election.

"PAS Johor welcomes Tan Sri Annuar Musa's appointment as the party's state election director.

"We are confident that his experience and leadership will help strengthen the preparations as well as coordination for the Johor polls," he said in a statement today.

Mohd Firdaus said the party machinery in Johor has been instructed to remain united and fully focused on election preparations.
