KUALA LUMPUR, May 22 -- A female childminder whose video went viral for allegedly beating and forcing a child to sit outside a house was arrested by police at her home in Sendayan, Seremban, last night.

Negeri Sembilan police chief Datuk Alzafny Ahmad said the boy's parents identified him through the viral clip before alerting police.

"At about 8pm yesterday, the Seremban District Police Headquarters received a report regarding the abuse of a four-year-old boy," he said in a statement today.

"The incident is believed to have taken place at a residential area in Seremban.

"The parents became aware of the abuse after watching a one-minute 15-second video clip circulating on social media."
