Negeri Sembilan DKU says no special meeting on May 29 as matter now before courts
SEREMBAN, May 28 -- A requested special meeting involving the Negeri Sembilan Dewan Keadilan dan Undang (DKU) cannot proceed as the matter is currently before the courts, the body's secretary said in a letter sighted by Malay Mail.
In the letter dated May 26, DKU secretary Raja Norazli Raja Nordin said the proposed special meeting requested by several Negeri Sembilan royal and customary leaders could not be convened due to ongoing court proceedings.
He cited an ongoing legal action identified as "Saman Pemula NA-24NCvC-240-05/2026", adding that any meeting held on the matter could touch on issues currently being litigated.
"DKU is unable to convene a special meeting as requested in view of the ongoing court proceedings," he wrote.
