SINGAPORE, Oct. 4 -- A 40-year-old motorcyclist died following an accident involving his motorcycle and two cars on the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) towards Tuas yesterday afternoon.

Photos of the aftermath, shared on Facebook on the same day, show a motorcycle lying on its side on the right-most lane, behind a black car with a shattered rear windshield.

At least one ambulance and police motorcycle were at the scene, alongside several emergency responders.

The first two lanes were cordoned off with traffic cones while vehicles continued moving through the left-most lane.
