SINGAPORE, Aug. 3 -- A 20-year-old Singaporean woman who was reported missing after abruptly leaving home has told Cambodian authorities she travelled to Cambodia of her own accord and was not coerced into scam operations, according to a video released by police in Phnom Penh.

In the one-minute recording, filmed at the Phnom Penh Municipal Police Headquarters, Aishah Siregar said she went to Cambodia to work as an English teacher and had chosen to leave Singapore because she felt stressed and wanted to "find my own path". She emphasised that she had not been forced, scammed or involved in any criminal activity.
