PETALING JAYA, Oct. 12 -- Two 20-year-old men were killed and five others injured in a midnight collision involving two vehicles at Kilometre 18.2 heading towards Kuala Lumpur early Monday morning.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) assistant director of operations Ashrul Riezal Asbar said the department received an emergency distress call regarding the incident near the Glenmarie Industrial Park at 12.27am.

"A total of 14 personnel from the Subang Jaya Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) and Bukit Jelutong Fire and Rescue Station were dispatched to the scene.

"The fire engines arrived at the scene at 12.44am and the operation was successfully brought under control at 1.05am," he said in a statement on Monday.
