IPOH, Aug. 13 -- Three men, including a police constable, were arrested after police seized drugs worth RM18,534 at the Lumut police station lock-up in Manjung.

Perak police chief Datuk Mohd Alwi Zainal Abidin said the drugs were found during an inspection of the lock-up on Tuesday at about 8.30am.

He said police found 16 small plastic tubes containing 109g of methamphetamine, 16 plastic tubes containing 110g of heroin and 23 tubes containing 142g of dried cannabis leaves.

"Following the seizure, we arrested two suspects, in their 40s, who are supposed to be charged for drugs-related offences.

"We also arrested the policeman, in his 30s, who is stationed at the location, to assist the investigation," he said at a press conference at t...
