Meet Bove and Bey, the retired Boeing 747s turned luxury hotel suites in Johor Bahru
JOHOR BAHRU, Aug. 28 -- Those craving a unique overnight stay can now head to the city's latest attraction, which offers accommodation inside a Boeing 747 aircraft.
The two decommissioned wide-body jetliners, named Bove and Bey, house a total of 18 luxury cockpit suites as part of an aviation-themed lifestyle complex spanning 14.9 acres in Kempas here.
Bove was formerly operated by Pan Am, while Bey was operated by Japan Airlines before both aircraft were decommissioned and sold.
Billed as a first-of-its-kind aviation stay experience, the 1975 Avenue & Hotel, developed by Tiong Nam Group, is located about 20 minutes from the city centre.
