BAU, May 18 -- A 54-year-old man receiving treatment at Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) after being found unconscious near the Wind Cave along Jalan Taiton here last Friday has died.

Bau police chief Supt Mohd Haide A. Rahman, who confirmed the death, said a report on the incident was received around 3.34pm on Saturday.

"According to the report, the victim left his home in Sebuku around 12.10pm to search for a job.

"Sometime in the evening, his family members were informed that the victim was found in the Wind Cave area and sent to Bau Hospital before being referred to SGH," he said in a statement.

He said the victim was pronounced dead at 11.11am on Saturday.
