KUALA LUMPUR, Oct. 15 -- A man was killed after reportedly getting trapped in a grinding machine at a palm oil processing factory in Beluran, Sabah early this morning.
According to Buletin TV3, the victim has been identified as 32-year-old Bloren Juplish.
Beluran Fire and Rescue Station chief Edoen Macheal said his team received a distress call about the incident at 6.20am.
He said seven firefighters were dispatched to the scene, located about 98km from the station.
"The victim was freed by factory workers with the help of police officers who were already at the scene before the fire and rescue team arrived.
"The victim was then taken to Beluran Hospital where he was pronounced dead," he said when contacted.
