SINGAPORE, Oct. 24 -- A 41-year-old man will be charged with the murder of a 38-year-old woman whose body was found in a hotel room along South Bridge Road, police said.
According to CNA, the man was arrested after he allegedly confessed to killing his wife at the Bukit Merah East Neighbourhood Police Centre around 7.40am.
"Upon receiving the information, police officers were despatched to a hotel along South Bridge Road and found the 38-year-old woman lying motionless in a hotel room.
"She was subsequently pronounced dead by paramedics at scene," police told CNA.
A cafe employee next to the hotel told CNA that she saw three to four police cars outside the lobby at about 8am on Friday.
