KUALA LUMPUR, Aug. 30 -- Malaysian content continued to make waves on the regional stage, with local productions winning seven awards across four categories at the 2026 ContentAsia Awards.

Held in Bangkok, Thailand, on August 27, the ContentAsia Awards recognise the best television, streaming and entertainment content produced across Asia.

Entries submitted by companies are judged by industry experts, with the top productions receiving Gold, Silver or Bronze awards in their respective categories.

Malaysia's biggest achievement came in the Best Animated Programme Made in Asia category, where local productions swept all three awards.
