Malaysian film 'Konspirasi' pulled from cinemas days after release at producers' request, says Finas
KUALA LUMPUR, May 29 -- Screenings of the Malaysian film Konspirasi have been terminated nationwide at the request of its producers, according to the National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (Finas).
In a statement, Finas said it was informed of the decision by the Persatuan Pemamer Filem Malaysia (MAFE) and Media Prima Berhad, the distributor responsible for dealings with cinema exhibitors.
The screenings officially ended on May 28 2026.
Finas said an email from the film's producer, Elepfilm Entertainment Sdn Bhd, confirmed that the company had requested that the screenings be stopped from the stated date.
