SEOUL, May 25 -- Three years after their explosive debut, K-pop girl group Le Sserafim are returning with their second full-length album, Pureflow Pt. 1, a project that re-examines the very concept that launched their careers: being fearless.

Released on May 22, the 11-track album, led by the Latin-infused single "Boompala," sees the quintet evolve from declaring their fearlessness to embracing fear as a necessary part of growth.

"Until now, we kept shouting 'fearless' and saying that we had no fear," explained member Huh Yunjin in a recent interview with The Korea Herald.

"But now, we feel that accepting anxiety and fear can actually make us stronger. In that sense, this album opens a new chapter in how we look at fear."
