KLUANG, Oct. 30 -- The Kluang Municipal Council (MPK) will investigate an incident where its public message LED display system in several locations were hacked, resulting in displaying an obscene video last night.

The municipal council said it has since lodged a police report to facilitate further investigation into the embarrassing incident.

"A comprehensive investigation is being undertaken in collaboration with the screen's vendor to identify the main cause of the incident.

"This is in addition to implementing remedial measures and strengthening the system's security," said a brief statement issued today.

MPK also apologised for any inconvenience caused to the Kluang community following the incident.
