KUALA LUMPUR, Aug. 11 -- His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, has ordered a comprehensive and transparent investigation into the findings of the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) report on Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH).

The Star reported that Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs) Zulkifli Hasan said the King had instructed that the investigation be conducted without compromise, with no stone left unturned.

"His Majesty's concern underscores the importance of safeguarding the trust and confidence of Muslims in the country's Haj management and Islamic financial institutions, which is in line with the Madani government's commitment," he said during the tabling of the report in the Dewan Rakyat today.
