TAIPEI, Aug. 18 -- Jay Chou may be used to calling the shots behind the camera, but the Mandopop superstar found himself playing a very different role this week - as his four-year-old daughter's make-up canvas.

The 47-year-old singer-songwriter shared the hilarious father-daughter episode on social media yesterday after youngest child Jacinda decided she wanted to try her hand at cosmetics.

Her original target was mum Hannah Quinlivan, but with the model heading out for the morning, Jay stepped in.

"I want you to do my make-up too!" he told his daughter.

That was apparently all the encouragement Jacinda needed.

She promptly dragged her famous father into older sister Hathaway's room, opened a small make-up bag and set to work.
