KUALA LUMPUR, Aug. 27 -- Former Negeri Sembilan menteri besar Datuk Mohd Isa Abdul Samad, who is currently serving a prison sentence at Sungai Buloh Prison, will undergo a heart-related procedure at Serdang Hospital on Thursday morning.

A family member of the former Felda chairman appealed for public prayers via WhatsApp for the procedure to go smoothly.

"The family humbly asks all friends and those who know him to pray that the procedure goes smoothly and that everything is made easier.

"May Allah grant him recovery, strength and good health," the family member said.
