PORT DICKSON, Oct. 22 -- A final-year college student undergoing practical training at a hotel in Lukut was found dead behind an eatery here yesterday.

Port Dickson District Police Chief Supt Ahmad Afiq Mohd Adnan said the 21-year-old man was found at 6.05 am after police received an emergency call via the MERS 999 line from a member of the public.

He said preliminary investigations found that the victim had facial injuries and a broken arm, believed to have been sustained in a fall from a building.

"The post-mortem found that the cause of death was head and abdominal injuries resulting from a fall from a height.

"Investigations also found no criminal elements in the case," he said in a statement yesterday.
